Grants, Pitch Competitions and Funding

  • BeyGood has teamed up with the NAACP to expand economic opportunity by awarding grants of $10,000 on the 15th of each month through the end of 2020. Apply today! $10K

  • SoGal Foundation has several $10K and $5K cash grants for Black women or nonbinary entrepreneurs. The foundation has also partnered with Howard University to award (5) $2,000 cash grants to Howard University student entrepreneurs. Students will receive their grants at the end of the Fall 2020 semester. Apply today!

  • HBCU students can submit their business pitch for an opportunity to receive funding from 2 Chainz. Apply by Nov 6!

  • Door Dash has $5K grants for restaurants who have faced COVID related challenges. Apply by Nov 6!

  • Headstream is launching a virtual accelerator for young entrepreneurs, founders and innovators to provide $30K in funding and a five-month accelerator with advisory services and access to investors and funders. Apply by Nov 8.

  • The Tory Burch Fellows Program applications are open for a 1-year fellowship, $5K grant and a week of networking, workshops, pitching and community building at the Tory Burch office. Apply by Nov 12.

  • Y Combinators Future Founders Conference is a virtual event for women who aspire to become a startup founder and want to learn from inspiring, successful entrepreneurial women. Apply by Nov 18

  • Target Takeoff is a five-week program for startups focused on consumer brands. This accelerator runs multiple times a year, has a pitch competition, panels and access to Target merchants and buyers. Apply by Nov 30

  • EnrichHER Accelerator + Portfolio Match Program is a five-week, virtual accelerator to help fund women-led or Black-owned businesses. The last EnrichHER Accelerator + Portfolio Match Program raised $375K for seven women-led businesses.

  • Founder Gym and Shopify are collaborating to provide scholarships for Black founders to participate in Founder Gym’s Money Magnet Program. Apply by Dec 4.
