  • WWCode CONNECT Forward, hosted by Women Who Code on December 2 - 4 is a space to connect with your community, level up your technical skills, and find inspiration. The conference has top company sponsors and several workshops.

  • Extreme Academy is offering a free 8-week Introduction to Future Networking bootcamp and certification. Attendees will receive the Extreme Networks Associate certification. Live classes start Dec 3. Want to learn more about Extreme Networks, watch the conference On Demand.

  • The PMI - New Jersey Chapter (PMINJ) Professional Development team will be holding “office hours” for the next four Mondays and offering FREE help to individuals who are planning to take the PMP or CAPM exam before 2021.   • Next Cubed is seeking HBCU students and alumni interested in pursuing entrepreneurship to join the HBCU Founder’s Program. From a series of virtual workshops and panel discussions, to pitch competitions and $10,000 for MVP development. Apply for the next cohort.

  • AEO announced the Fiserv Back2Business Grants for Small Business Program, to award up to $10,000 to Black- and minority-owned businesses impacted by COVID-19 and social unrest. Apply by Mar 15.

  • Comcast Business opened applications early for Black business owners to apply to receive cash grants, marketing consultations, media placements, commercial creative production services, or technology services from Effectv and Comcast Business. Apply today!

  • The Startup Launch at GA Tech is providing a $4k grant in funding, legal & accounting services, startup coaching, workspace, and mentorship for your startup idea. Apply by Nov 30.

  • The Vegan Women’s Summit is hosting the world’s first global female founder summit and pitch competition dedicated to plant-based innovation. Register

  • Microsoft launched the Black and African American Partner Growth Initiative to offer more relevant guidance and resources at Microsoft. You receive: Structured onboarding with consultants who will help you connect with Microsoft tools and resources, Technical consultations to support you as you create solutions and services and marketing and demand generation resources to help you find customers.

Accelerators and/or Founder Programs

  • Mielle Organics launched its $1,000,000 #MoreThanAStrand fund to provide educational, entrepreneurial, economic empowerment and business investment for Black women and women of color around the globe! More Details / Ongoing.

  • Macy's is looking for Vendors! You can get your product feature in Macy's department stores and online. Apply by Nov. 30.

  • NCTM's has Mathematics Education Trust grants, scholarships, and awards ranging from $1,500 to $24,000 to help math teachers, prospective teachers, and other math educators. Rolling deadlines.

  • Accenture launched the Black Founders Development Program led by Accenture Ventures. Accenture will invest in and support Black business owners and leaders advance and grow through direct access to venture capital, corporate mentorship, and strategic connections.

  • Target Takeoff is a five-week program for startups focused on consumer brands. This accelerator runs multiple times a year, has a pitch competition, panels and access to Target merchants and buyers. Apply by Nov 30.

  • Founder Gym and Shopify are collaborating to provide scholarships for Black founders to participate in Founder Gym’s Money Magnet Program. Apply by Dec 4.
